Donors like you are helping us make a difference in the lives of 4,000 people each year, more than half of whom are from low-income families. Contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations, and community organizations provide nearly two-thirds of our annual budget. When you donate to the Learning Center you're also supporting the community-based organizations with whom we partner. More than 20% of the funds we raise are passed on directly to our community partners.
 
Here are a few examples of how your financial support can help:

 

  • $50 helps a family learn healthy eating skills
  • $100 supports 4 students for an overnight learning experience at the farm
  • $325 brings a school group to our farm for a day-long learning experience
  • $750 provides an overnight farm experience for an urban youth group
  • $1,000 helps a beginning farmer launch a farm enterprise through our Farm Beginnings® business planning and mentoring program
