Growing Through Giving

Angelic Organics Learning Center has joined the #GivingTuesday and #ILGiveBig movements this year to support the concept of spending with a purpose. This new effort will harness the collective power of a unique blend of partners—charities, families, businesses and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. Coinciding with the Thanksgiving holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday and #ILGiveBig will inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support and help create a better world. Taking place December 2, 2014 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – #GivingTuesday and #ILGiveBig will harness the power of social media to create a national movement around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping.#GivingTuesday, #ILGiveBig

Angelic Organics Learning Center has joined with the #GivingTuesday and #ILGiveBig movements this year to offer people an opportunity to feel good about contributing to the development of their community through programs that help urban and rural people create healthy local food systems in the region.

We are so pleased to join the nationwide movements of #GivingTuesday and #ILGiveBig that encourages people to make contributions to deserving charities. This collective effort can improve communities and create a brighter world for others this holiday season,” explained Denise Stennis, Director of Development and Communications at Angelic Organics Learning Center.
