The Roots & Wings Network of Angelic Organics Learning Center is pleased to join other farms from around the country for National CSA Sign-Up Day on Friday, February 26th. Join the Young Professionals' Association of Angelic Organics Learning Center in the garden for a day of service.

We will start with a tour of the space, where volunteers will learn more about the history of the site, the practices utilized, and the programs offered to the community. This will be followed by the group completing garden tasks. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring your garden gloves (tools will be provided).

Creeping Charlie and henbit are two kinds of “ground ivy” in the mint family, with bad reputations for taking over lawns and gardens with their spreading stems. BUT they are also some of the earliest food sources for spring pollinators and beneficial insect predators looking for nectar. AND when you sit quietly and look closely, their flowers are delicate and gorgeous miniature trumpets, offering welcome color before most other plants have started to green up from winter.
