Students will learn about chocolate ingredients, their varieties, and where they come from. We will explain chocolate making tools and machines and allow students to experience making nibs and to see some basic grinding techniques. We will also explore chocolate tasting: students will have an opportunity to taste a variety of single source chocolate varieties from Peru, Bolivia, Costa Rica and more. You'll even take home some fresh ground organic single source nibs and chocolate. Taught by guest instructor Dan Bieser from Tabal Chocolate.
