Farmer Training Coordinator

 The Farmer Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the educational programs of the Farmer Training Initiative including coordinating program logistics, program delivery, data entry,  coordinating outreach and recruitment for programs, program evaluation, and farmer alliance work. On-Farm Educators

Director of On Farm Programs

The On-Farm Initiative Program Director is responsible for directing, supervising and providing leadership for all aspects of the On-Farm initiative. This person develops, implements and manages the annual work plan and budget for the on-farm initiative, supervises departmental staff and their work; fosters relationships with individuals, teachers and other potential groups; plans programs collaboratively with community partners; manages relationships with external stakeholders including project partners, contractors and community networks; delivers programs; reviews and contributes to key grant proposals and grant reports; and all other duties as assigned.  Read Job Description Here!

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Roots and Wings Program Support Volunteer

Application Deadline: Until filled

Roots & Wings is a Youth Leadership and Urban Agriculture program coordinated by Angelic Organics Learning Center at Blackhawk Courts Farm in Rockford, IL. The program support volunteer commits to weekly data entry and organization of program supplies, information and spaces for 2-4 hours per week. Roots and Wings Adult Mentor Volunteer

Application Deadline: May 30, 2018

Roots & Wings is a Youth Leadership and Urban Agriculture program coordinated by Angelic Organics Learning Center at Blackhawk Courts Farm in Rockford, IL. Adult mentors commit to participating in weekly youth programming with middle school students at Blackhawk Courts farm during 6-8 weeks from mid-June to mid-August, with options for continued support during the school year.
