On-Farm Educators

Farmer Training Resource Specialist 

Application Deadline: Until filled

This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the year-round Stateline Farm Beginnings and Farm Finance programs and assists the Program Director in other Farmer Training programs, as needed.  Additionally, the Resource Specialist works collaboratively with project partners to improve and execute Farmer Training Programs. Executive Director

Angelic Organics Learning Center seeks an Executive Director beginning fall 2019.  The purpose of the Executive Director is to ensure solid financial, fundraising and programmatic management in line with the mission of the organization; to coach the board and staff team in the implementation of their roles and responsibilities; to facilitate discernment and decision making among the staff and board as they assess risks and opportunities and to act as a voice and spokesperson.  A background in sustainable agriculture, food justice, and/or farmer training, is preferred as well as possessing solid non-profit management and executive skills.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Roots and Wings Program Support Volunteer

Roots & Wings is a Youth Leadership and Urban Agriculture program coordinated by Angelic Organics Learning Center at Blackhawk Courts Farm in Rockford, IL. The program support volunteer commits to weekly data entry and organization of program supplies, information and spaces for 2-4 hours per week. Roots and Wings Adult Mentor Volunteer

Application Deadline: May 30, 2018

Roots & Wings is a Youth Leadership and Urban Agriculture program coordinated by Angelic Organics Learning Center at Blackhawk Courts Farm in Rockford, IL. Adult mentors commit to participating in weekly youth programming with middle school students at Blackhawk Courts farm during 6-8 weeks from mid-June to mid-August, with options for continued support during the school year.
